The train ride up to the 2,288-meter peak from the Sunnegga-Rothorn valley station in Zermatt is as uncomplicated as can be. On the one hand, children of all ages are always well entertained there - whether skiing in winter or playing in summer. On the other hand, parents find relaxation on the sunny peak. Even the short ride from the mountain station to the Wolli adventure park with the self-service Leisee shuttle is a brief experience. And that's not even mentioning all that awaits families upon arrival. The most important thing: lots of fun. Classics such as slides, climbing frames and swings are definitely not to be missed, along with other stations.
A highlight is definitely the wooden raft, with which you can pull yourself across the lake "Leisee" using a rope. There is also a small beach at the lake. If you get hungry, you can either use one of the barbecue areas or sit down in the shade of the pavilion for a picnic. The well-equipped fireplaces with seating also invite you to barbecue.
Wolli - Beginner Park in Winter
The Wolli beginners' park in winter offers the perfect conditions for relaxed family skiing days. Here, child-friendly slopes come first and are suitable for children of all ages. The park is characterized not only by its wind-protected and sunny location, but also by its unique practice facilities. With five magic carpets and a variety of play equipment, the joy of skiing is taught in a playful way. In addition, the park can be reached comfortably with the self-service Leisee shuttle from Sunnegga.
The Beginner Ski Pass from Zermatt Bergbahnen is ideal for learning to ski in the Zermatt ski area. This ticket grants access to the Wolli beginners' park as well as to the entire Sunnegga - Blauherd beginners' area with its blue slopes.
