Snowpark Zermatt
Up and away at Snowpark Zermatt! The fun park on the Theodul Glacier is one of the highest in the Alps and one of the most popular. Together with the Summer Snow Park it offers snowboarders and freestyle fans an arena in which to show off their skills on over 300 days a year: no wonder the Swiss glacier park is one of the freestyle hotspots of Europe.

WINTER ACTION IN THE GLACIER PARK
In winter, Zermatt Snow Park can be found on the lower part of the Theodul Glacier, just by the Furggsattel glacier lift, at an altitude of 3250 metres above sea level. It can be reached from Zermatt via the Matterhorn Glacier Ride I or the Furggsattel chairlift. Zermatt’s winter fun park is open from October to mid-May.

The six creative lines, 1200 metres in length and catering for all skill levels, are sure to make every freestyler’s heart beat a little faster with excitement. The long lines, cool obstacles and smooth transitions, plus the amazing view, sunshine and perfect natural snow, make every session an absolute peak of pleasure.
Matterhorn Cross
Winter sports fans young and old can enjoy an action-packed, fun-filled downhill run thanks to the Fun Slope at the Zermatt Snow Park. It has plenty to offer beginners and advanced users alike: tunnels, hills, small jumps, high-speed steep-wall curves and a variety of obstacles are all part of the creative course design. Tighten your ski boots and you’re good to go!

Snowpark Zermatt in summer
In summer, the freestyle action takes place even higher up – at around 3480 m on the Plateau Rosa. Between July and mid-October, the shredding hits new heights in the Summer Snow Park. The view of the Matterhorn is an added bonus.
Facts
On a 300-metre course, riders are greeted by creative set-ups which are rebuilt every week. In all, there are 15 rails, 7 boxes and 10 jumps (2 x small, 5 x medium and 3 x large). From rookie to pro, everyone will find their favourite line here in the summer.
P.S.: Sightings of professional skiers and snowboarders are not uncommon on the Theodul Glacier!
