One year of Matterhorn Alpine Crossing: the anniversary celebrations

How quickly time flies. The Matterhorn Alpine Crossing between Zermatt and Cervinia has been in operation for a year now. With the grand opening of the new Matterhorn Glacier Ride II, the cable car between the Klein Matterhorn and Testa Grigia on the Italian border on 30 June 2023, the cable car officially went into operation on 1 July 2023. 

Cervino SpA and Zermatt Bergbahnen would like to celebrate the anniversary of the Matterhorn Alpine Crossing connection in style. Italian snacks and drinks will be served at the cable car station on Testa Grigia on Sunday, 30 June 2024. The cable car journey around the Matterhorn and the return journey Zermatt - Testa Grigia will be offered to all guests on this day at a special rate with a 50% price reduction.
