Open day
To celebrate the finalization of construction work on the Matterhorn Express valley station and the new administration building, all interested people are invited to an open day on Saturday, 24 August 2024 from 11.30 am.
This special day offers the opportunity to take a tour of the new building on Schluhmattstrasse. The tour starts to the left of Dorsaz Sport and leads directly to the basement of the new valley station. Afterwards, the offices of Zermatt IT and the marketing and administration departments of Zermatt Bergbahnen can be visited on the 2nd and 3rd floors. A wheel of fortune offers exciting chances to win, such as exclusive merchandise or a ride on the rooftop ride of the new Zermatt-Furi aerial tramway, which opened in May.
Afterwards, the celebrations will continue in the Furi mountain station with a cosy get-together and an aperitif. Musical accompaniment will also ensure a pleasant atmosphere. The return journey on the new aerial cableway is included in the tour.
